This Privacy Policy explains how A2Z Prototyping ("A2Z," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our products, including PinotPlanner, our wine-country trip-planning app (the "App").

Information we collect

To create and secure your account, we collect your phone number. If you use the App with others, we also collect the trip, itinerary, and expense information you and your group choose to enter. We do not collect a password — sign-in works by text message code and, on trusted devices, a push confirmation.

How we use text messages

We use your phone number for exactly one purpose: sending a one-time verification code by SMS when you first register, or when you sign in from a new device and no trusted device is available to confirm it's you. We do not send marketing, promotional, or recurring messages by text. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, or any other personal information collected in connection with our messaging program, with third parties or lead generators, for their own marketing purposes. Your phone number is used only to operate and secure your account as described above.

How we use other information

Trip, itinerary, and expense data you and your group enter is used only to provide the App's features to your trip's members, and is never visible to a trip you're not a member of. We may use anonymized, aggregate usage data (for example, how many trips are created) to understand and improve the product.

How long we keep information

We retain account and trip information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App's features. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Contact below.

Your choices

Account verification and device-approval messages are required to sign in and cannot be opted out of, since they are how we confirm it's really you. We do not offer any optional or promotional text messaging at this time.
